Yes, don’t think that pillow fights are only for children. Every year, across the world, adults from all backgrounds take part in pillow fights in the middle of our cities. Some are dressed up in pyjamas, some are in fancy dress but all are letting their inner child rekindle or make new memories!
International Pillow Fight Day 2018 is next Saturday (7 April) so just 7 days to go! In London, it takes place from 1-4pm in Allen Gardens, Shoreditch (postcode E1 5EG). You can find all the details on Facebook such as the type of pillows you are allowed to take, etc. Over 3,000 people have already shown interest.
But, with this phenomenon starting 10 years ago, you’ll also find events all over the world including Asheville (NC), Atlanta (GA), Barcelona, (Spain), Belo Horizonte (Brazil), Bilbao (Spain), Chicago (IL), Hong Kong, Kitchener-Waterloo (ON), Leiden (Netherlands), Melbourne (Australia), New York (NY), Orlando (FL), Pristina (Netherlands), Rotterdam (Netherlands), Seattle (WA), Sochi (Russia), Stockton (CA), Valencia (Spain), Vancouver (BC), Vienna (Austria) and Washington (DC).
Gutted that I can’t go as I’ve got work commitments but it’s now on my bucket list and fingers crossed I’ll make it next year!
Here’s my list of challenges if you’d like to see what’s on my current bucket list
